The past few meets have been close calls for me.  At the Bishop Chatard Invite, I received second place by a lean at the end. Again at the Greenfield-Central Invite, I got second in the very end by a head to head sprint and I was beat across the line.

The All-Catholic meet I received 28th place with a season personal record of 17:20. And at the Scecina Memorial Invitational hosted by Horizon Christian I was out leaned by a long time opponent, Cameron Dawson, in the final stretch and received second. Although with all these close calls I remain determined and excited for upcoming races.

Editor's Note: Scecina Memorial senior Michael Michaud writes a weekly blog for The Sports Chronicle.
