By Michael Michaud, senior at Scecina

This week I had two invites. On Tuesday, I had the Lawrence Central Invite where I placed third with a time of 17;30. And on Saturday, I raced in the Culver Military Academy Invite. I chose to bump myself up to the open race that had schools like Carmel that were very fast schools. I did this so that I'd be more worried about my time than my placement. I ran a 17:20, so I improved my time, but in mind that's not good enough.

As we enter what my coach calls "championship season," I plan to drop my time tremendously. The season is coming to a close, but I'm in no way ready to be done.
