How Does The WTC 2025-2027 Points Table System Work?
The WTC follows a simple points system to rank teams throughout the tournament. As a result, every Test match offers valuable points that can shape the standings.
Teams earn 12 points for a win, 6 for a tie, and 4 for a draw. However, they can lose points if they fail to maintain the required over rate.
Meanwhile, teams climb the standings based on the percentage of points they earn, known as PCT. Ultimately, the top two teams secure a place in the 2027 World Test Championship Final.
